Subj: Is SCOX, in fact, *THE* owner of the UNIX operationg system?

I came across this in a recent news release:

"LINDON, Utah, June 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The SCO Group (SCO) (Nasdaq: SCOX - News), the owner of the UNIX® operating system and a leading provider of UNIX-based solutions, today announced the release of SCO UnixWare 7.1.4. "

Very simply, I would like to know if the information in this news release is correct. Is SCOX the sole owner of the UNIX operating system?

Thank you,

I don't expect a reply. But, if I do get one, I'll include that in my complaint to the SEC. I don't expect the SEC will do anything either. But, maybe if pound on the SEC often enough, the SEC will wake up.
