SCO *climbing*???!

I haven't looked at SCO's stock price [ http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?s=SCOX&t=3m&l=on&z=m&q=l&;c= ] for a while, so it was a bit of a shock to pop over there and see that they've been climbing since the beginning of November.

Is interest in SCO stock so low that this is pure painting?? Given that Daimler Chrysler is about to stomp on them next month, and we're getting closer to IBM's substantive motions being heard, I'd expect that any serious stock holder would be getting rather nervous.

Oh, and while I'm here: Congrats PJ! You completely deserve the award.

(( OK: 'we', but mostly you. Just like Linus didn't write most of what is now in Linux, if he hadn't catalyzed it, I'd quite probably be typing this on a Windows box (and hating it). Many people contribute to Groklaw and you provide the glue and core functionality (in more ways than one).))

SCO *climbing*???!

Actually, I think this is folks buying stock to cover shorts.

If I had shorted stock at any point over a few months ago and
my "due date" was here (or coming up), I'd be thrilled to
cover my "loan" with $3-$4 shares.

Recall: months ago it was pointed out how many short positions there were.
